We're seeking caring, supportive individuals to become volunteer grief support group facilitators who can provide a brave space for young people ages 3-29 and their caregivers to express the big and small emotions accompanying grief.

As a Brooke's Place Facilitator, you'll:

• Help make a meaningful impact in your community
No prior counseling experience? No problem! Our comprehensive training will equip you with everything you need to become an extraordinary grief support facilitator.
What We're Looking For:
• Individuals 16 years and older with a big heart and open mind
• People who love working with children and want to give back
• Active listeners who can create a supportive, dynamic group environment
• Committed volunteers ready to make a difference
Volunteer Commitment:
• Complete our facilitator training workshop
• Participate in pre and post-training interviews
• Commit to a one-year journey with Brooke's Place
• Pass a background check

Camp Healing Tree Day
Camp Healing Tree is an opportunity for grieving youth ages 7-17 to be with friends their age who have also experienced the death of someone close to them. Connecting with others with shared experiences helps us know that we are not alone in our grief.
Volunteer at Camp Healing Tree Day
Trained camp volunteers provide children and teens the opportunity to express their feelings, thoughts, and memories of their loved ones through engaging activities and outdoor adventures.
Volunteers who apply to be facilitators are required to have been through Brooke's Place Facilitator Training.

Camp Healing Tree Weekend
Camp Healing Tree is an opportunity for grieving youth ages 7-17 to be with friends their age who have also experienced the death of someone close to them. Connecting with others with shared experiences helps us know that we are not alone in our grief.
Due to limited capacity, camper placement is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to individuals who have not yet had an opportunity to attend Camp Healing Tree. Following the submission of the camper application, an in-person or virtual screening will be scheduled with each camper. Registration is not complete until this required step is completed.
About Camp Healing Tree Weekend
Camp Healing Tree offers fun camp activities such as swimming, arts and crafts and campfires. We are looking forward to offering as many traditional camp activities as possible, along with some new experiences as a way to process grief.
Established in 1995 by a team of devoted volunteers and community supporters, Camp Healing Tree became a program of Brooke's Place in 2018. Thanks to our generous donors, community partners and trained volunteers, Camp Healing Tree is offered at no charge to our participants.

Brooke’s Place Trivia Night
Brooke’s Place Trivia Night
YOU are invited to Brooke's Place Trivia Night presented by Fishers Pediatric Dentistry! Join us at Barnes & Thornburg, LLP (11 s Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46204) on March 14 for a fun-filled night celebrating Brooke's Place's 25th Anniversary. Test your trivia knowledge with our host Brian McMullan from Challenge Entertainment, while also EMPOWERING grieving children, teens, young adults and their families to THRIVE. Doors Open at 5:30 PM and trivia starts at 6:30 PM.
Tickets are $200 for a team of 4 and $375 for a team of 8. Food and drinks/alcohol are included with the purchase of a ticket. Along with trivia, there will be raffle prizes and a spirit pull. Prizes await winners.
Register by February 15th for a sneak peek at one of the trivia question categories. Registration deadline is March 8.
Trivia Team Showdown
Once you've bought your tickets, you and your team have the chance to take part in our Trivia Team Showdown. Create a team name, theme and page, and dress up for the big night. How do you win? The group that raises the most on their team page will emerge victorious and be celebrated as the showdown champions!
