Ellen returned to school to accomplish her long sought goal to obtain an MSW degree while simultaneously raising her two children. During one of her classes she met a guest lecturer who quickly captured her heart and interest leading her to the Brooke's Place volunteer program. Several years later Ellen has now joined Brooke's Place as a counselor. Ellen graduated from IUPUI School of Social Work in 2010 and has acquired years of life and clinical experience. During her spare time Ellen enjoys her family and friends, hiking with their Labrador, mastering new recipes, gardening and reading.
