Ayana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been independently licensed in Indiana since 2016. She earned her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University (2013) and B.A. in Psychology from Manchester College (2009). She has worked with clients in the community and those involved in the criminal justice system, supporting them through life-altering situations to find hope when things feel hopeless. She is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages through grief and other life challenges. She currently works with the Division of Mental Health and Addiction, managing funding that assists community mental health agencies to better serve their clients. When not working, she enjoys playing games with her friends and family, karaoke, and singing with her community choir.
