Erica O’Neil

Erica O'NeilErica graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Indiana University School of Social Work, IUPUI. Prior to working at Brooke’s Place, Erica worked at St. Vincent Hospice as a Bereavement Coordinator for close to four years. Erica has over fifteen years of experience working with families and children in various settings, including schools, community mental health centers, home-based counseling and medical rehabilitation. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Although Erica has been focused in the bereavement field for the past five years, she has had a lifelong passion for grief and bereavement work. Through her previous experience, Erica has developed a family systems expertise in helping individuals and families facing developmental delay diagnoses, mental health diagnoses, and serious illness and the resultant losses. In her free time, Erica loves spending time with her husband, two young children, and rescue dog, Teddy.
