BP8 is our outreach grief support group program created to reach underserved individuals and communities impacted by death, specifically death by homicide. This program is dedicated to creating safe and confidential groups that ensures participants feel supported throughout their grief journey. For grieving youth, sharing their experiences with peers provides healing and hope.
BP8 is structured as weekly one-hour sessions for a period of eight weeks. Groups are led by trained facilitators and volunteers, offering grief based play and a variety of expressive arts activities. BP8 provides all supplies and is offered at no charge to the participants.
